It's a little unfair, but also self-defeating to bring a new player on when the rest of the team are defending a set-piece.

From looking physically the stronger team in the first half, most of the HJK players now have their tongues hanging out. I'll be pissed off if Celtic don't add one more in the final 13 or so minutes.

Fuck's sake Stokes, you brainless wanker.

Finishes 2-1. A poor result for Celtic considering the level of dominance. Not only have HJK not been killed off, they also have an away goal.

There's a lot riding on that second leg. If Celtic get through, then even if they're eliminated in the next round they will still drop into the Europa League. If they lose, then of course they end up with zilch.

Not too confident.

Really dumb substitution in more ways than one, yeah.

This is basically the best HJK were hoping for. They have a plastic pitch and a fantastic home record, and they might nick a one goal win.

They celebrated the release from prison of their chairman, he has served a year before trial and has another five years to do of a six year sentence but I guess he won't go back.

The only punishment they had was a one year ban from UEFA, a disgrace.

Come on Vaslui!

Nice and easy for Celtic in the end, other than Fraser Forster getting away with an appalling fumble at 1-0. Victor Wanyama was given a second yellow for stupidly chopping down a Finn who was going nowhere, and will miss the first leg of the final qualifier. The Europa League beckons.
