I'm looking forward to seeing the highlights of those last few minutes at Home Park.

Wimbledon's away form seems to be the only thing keeping them going since I started watching them at home, is it my fault?

Seems unlikely. I wonder if we have an at home thing going on, though.

Any news on a new manager yet?

We're down to three candidates, who are all being reinterviewed tomorrow, and we expect an appointment by sometime Tuesday.

We're all assuming that Simon Bassey is one of those three. Neal Ardley and Lee Bradbury are spoken of as possible other members of the trio.

So Rochdale won the derby at Crown ground 3-2. It was a very entertaining game but in the end the better team won.
good to see a decent crowd at stanley although 2600 would not be celebrated at many clubs.
Accrington are playing good football but with so many youngsters they are liable to give away goals like the 3 yesterday - failing to close down the space in midfield and giving away a soppy penalty.
There was a good atmosphere with the return of Coleman and Bell who spent 30 years at Stanley and getting a good reception. Unfortunate but all too predictable were the chants about grooming, child abuse etc which are par for the course when rochdale come to town. (like there is no child abuse in Hyndburn?) I guess you can call it banter...

Oxford managed a draw and a clean sheet against top-of-the table Gillingham. they beat Wimbledon last week before that they had five straight defeats. Previous tot hat they like the Gills had wom every game.

Couldn't make it but in his post-match interview Martin Allen compared Oxford keeper Ryan Clarke, returning after being dropped, to Gordon Banks.

for some reason Rotherham loaned us Johnny Mullins. Who seems extremely good.

Yes Mullins and Clarke were fantastic. Mind you Gillimgham's goalie played a blinder (PAAARP) too. I was also impressed by Rigg for Oxford.

I was also please that Damian Batt and Alfie Potter seemed to be recovering their confidence.

It was interesting that Wilder replaced Smalley with Craddock, not Constable. I can't see Constable staying much longer. However it was notable that we only had offside decisions against us once Constable came on for Potter.

We're looking out for wisps of yellow and blue smoke from the chimneys at the meadow of kings.

Well. If the rumours are true and it is Rob Page it's a nice way of trying to make me feel even more at home.

Interesting. Yer man on the Hounslow Chronicle is usually well-sourced.

I always liked him as a player for Wales, in his very brief time with Cardiff and even with Watford but I really can't put my finger on why.

But surely less well-sourced than yourself, Mr. Stewart? Go on, spill..

And also let us have Ryan Cresswell on a free. Player of the Season for us so far...

The website have pre-empted the press conference and announced Neal Ardley.

Neal Ardley as manager, with Neil Cox as his assistant, and Simon Bassey staying on s first-team coach. Not a bad result, I'd say.
