First link isn't working AFC, I'm assuming the Hearts thing is finally coming to some sort of a head. It's always coming to some sort of a head though. Romanov will want some sort of return so I can't see him allowing us to use the Rangers get out clause. No disrespect AMMS - I'd largely be in favour of Hearts people being allowed to rebuild Hearts and I'd probably take anything to shift the daft cunt at the moment.

Skacel's signed for Dundee United, I'm not in a good way - the one good thing to happen to Hearts from the start of the Romanov era (with a gap in between hastened by Mad Vlad) has been Rudi. Good luck to him, reminds me of the days when it was all about the team your club could put out there.

I've fixed the link, it suggests things may get a bit worse yet:

And in an uncanny cue BBC Scotland reminds me that they're showing what could be his first gemme for The Arabs during the week in the League Cup. Against Hearts.

It'll be alright, he'll more than likley play today and get his usual hat-trick against us.

Apparently Skacel has picked shirt number 51. Can't imagine why...

Oh jaysus.

I'd a feeling something like this might happen after the rigours of last Tuesday.

Great result by Kilmarnock and well done to them.

Pat McCourt made it out of the snug for long enough to come on for the final 30 minutes.

A first win at Parkhead for 57 years and 65 games. Shocked & stunned.

Well done Killie. Glad that Lennon decided to tear into his own players rather than the officials and those shocked by this result forget that when Killie hit their stride they're more than a match for anyone in this league. Trouble is, when they're off they're really off.

Whether Lennon's arse-kicking will have the desired effect seeing as Celtic remain top and have the luxury, for want of a better word, of losing the odd game remains to be seen.

Couldn't believe that stat when I heard it.

Got to agree with Commodore though, Killie are a good side on their day

Or, to use my mate's favourite expression when describing this current Killie side, shit or champagne.

ICT up next, they put 6 past us in the equivalent game last season, nothing would surprise me less than a repeat. It should be annoying and frustrating having no idea which Killie is going to turn up but it's kinda fun (not for Kenny Shiels though).

They got a 0-0 draw at Celtic Park on the opening day of the season about five years ago.

None taken, that would have been my preference for us too. Unfortunately in my experience what we want really doesn't matter a great deal in the scheme of things. Hope things work out for you.

The Dons crashed out of the cup last night to a side they were expected to beat. Standard. This time it was St Mirren's turn.

Oh well, at least we're doing pretty well in the League. County away on Saturday, wish I was home for that!

To be fair, this is nowhere near on the scale of the other cup defeats of recent seasons.
Our defence had a poor evening but St Mirren are a capable side who took their chances during normal time and held their nerve in the penalties.
I feel sorry for Cammy Smith who missed AFCs final penalty, he's just a young kid and I'm sure he'll bounce back.
Disappointing certainly, but it's not a disaster.

Thought we'd blown it late on again. If its any consolation to Dons that's the best we've been in weeks.
More importantly when are they going to build the by-pass? Took about an hour from the outskirts to Pittodrie. Also Pittodrie has the best pies I've had at the football in years (the "pittodrie" and macaroni) and I've been suffering from lack of sleep all day.

I guess it is hard to remember that for several of these 57 years they played one league (occasionally two leagues) below Celtic. Only really the SPL kept Killie as a Premier team for this long stretch. But in reality their fanbase is no different from other 3rd ranked clubs like Falkirk, Dunfermline, Dundee, Thistle and St Mirren.

Oh and for the benefit of those paid to report on the football last night - including the BBC who had a whole day to prepare highlights - it was Marc McAusland who scored St Mirren's fourth penalty.
I know it might be too much to ask that they are able to differentiate between two of the first choice defenders for a team in the SPL but one is ginger and 5'10" the other blond and 6'3" FFS etc.
