Martin Allen seems to have no moral qualms about the Franchise.

Well done Huddersfield, much better game than last night.

It was a relatively poor performance by Huddersfield. MK Don's general repulsiveness aside they probably should have gotten something out of this tonight, or at least taken it to extra-time.

United have the better all-round team, but an anemic attack post-Evans, whilst Huddersfield have Rhodes, who is clearly too good for this division. It's an evenly matched final.

Robinson looked a bit heartfelt in his wave to the Franchise supporters at the end. Perhaps the rumours that there's a taxi outside the Galpharm bringing him straight to the KC Stadium might not be so far out after all........

Apart from Rhodes finishing prowess, I thought Franchise were the better team over the whole tie. They were also the best side we saw play Orient this year, and are a <choke> good team to watch at the moment.

Not that I wish them any joy, but we're stuck with the cunts in L1 for another season.

Franchise choking in the play-offs truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Well done, Huddersfield.

I wonder if their pitiful support is a factor in their repeated play-off failures. They might be able to overcome it in league play, but when the team needs that extra lift in the play-offs, then it isn't there for them, and it is for Huddersfield, Scunthorpe, Shrewsbury and anyone else who has gubbed them.

Peterbrough. Knew I was missing someone.

Could be something in that, I recall one of the Shrewsbury fans on here mentioning they came across all bright and breezy and carefree on their way back to their cars just minutes after losing. That's 4 playoff failures in 6 years now and each one at the semi-final. Well done Huddersfield, has CTT left the board?

Thank you, Huddersfield. Here's to many more years of those cunts staying down.

1. Well done Huddersfield on defeating the forces of evil. Hopefully "Project MK" will now implode...

2. Martin Allen's "expert" analysis proving that Leicester were totally right in getting shut of that prick so quickly

11,000 or so total wasn't it? How many Huddersfield? Either way, not so impressive for Franchise. Can't be much fun to play for them. Glad to ser Huddersfield do well.

Franchise's last game of the season against Walsall attracted 10607 and there were 11893 at their play-off home leg against Huddersfield.

Considering Huddersfield probably took a couple of thousand to MK whilst Walsall took a few hundred (I would guess) it's likely there were more MK "fans" at the last regular season game than at the playoff semi...

Do season tickets count for the play-offs? If not, then the Watford one might have been boosted by absent season ticket holders, while the play-off game would have been a truthful record of those in the ground.

Walsall.

I wouldn't particularly trust Franchises crowd figures anyway. They certainly looked exagerrated by at least a couple of thousand when we played there.

You could have ended that sentence after qualms, couldn't you?

I've just read that the gate receipts from all four semi-finals are pooled and then distributed amongst the clubs.

Are MK one of those clubs that counts all its season ticket holders in the gate even when they don't turn up? That factor often explains this discrepancy.

We took 4000 or so to MK I believe.

We were dire last night. MK should have gone through based on their performances from both legs.

Welcome, Wonderhorse. I think Huddersfield picked up quite well for the last 30 minutes, after their unorthodox 7-0-3 formation stuttered before that.
