No quarter asked ~

So, after the amuse bouches of the Champions League and UEFA Cup comes the hearty football pie of the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The firm, honest shortcrust pastry of Barnsley v Chelsea, the chewy, chunky beef of Man Utd v Portsmouth, the rich tangy gravy of Bristol Rovers v WBA and the indistinguishable gristly thing of Middlebrough v Cardiff City.

I really am quite excited despite the probability that it's the end of the road for us. I'm on a bus with at least two other OTFers making a weekender of it given the inhospitable kick-off time and it all adds to "the magic of the Cup" for me.

Anyone else getting to a tie? Or at all interested?
