The worst pound-for-pound signings ever ~

This must have been done at some point in the past but seeing as it was mentioned on the top paid footballers thread let's have another go.

So is there a worse one than Darren Bent? I can't think of any. Obvious candidates include Veron and Shevchenko but they at least had some sort of marketing value over and above their footballing ability, which compensates somewhat.
