23 August ~ Non-League Day is a campaign to promote semi-professional football and takes place on Saturday, September 4. This is the day after England play a Euro 2012 qualifier, UEFA having quixotically decided that Fridays should be set aside for international matches. With no Premier League and Championship matches over that weekend, the campaign's organisers hope that Non-League clubs will reap the benefit. More details here On the subject...
