Nigel Harris is Cardiff born, Cardiff bred and when he dies he will be Cardiff dead.

A lifetime of endless oppression supporting Cardiff City and Wales with a never ending belief (OK, fantasy) that they will prosper in the Premier League and Euro/World Cup finals respectively has cruelly taken its toll with a lack of height, greying hair and a terrace man's pie and beer belly.

Expressing his angst by writing as a hobby only about his unstinting turmoil and trauma caused by this affliction has proved to be able therapy.

Away from several WSC articles, he has been a columnist for Big Issue, South Wales Echo and the now defunct Football Echo in South Wales, contributed to sports/music books and magazines and provided match reports since 1996 for the leading Cardiff City website and now has his own blog.
