Jörn Kröger

Nominally WSC's only foreign import, Jörn arrived in 2003 from Kiel (Germany) via Lewisham, Manchester and Kentish Town. Having worked for several design studios including Me Company, Demon Records, Bill Smith Studio and Dorling Kindersley he is now a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. He reached a landmark 200 goals in 200 games as Mittlestürmer for SE3-based Inter the Valley from 1990 to 2005 and is now seeing out his playing days in division nine of the Mid Sussex Football League, somewhere across the back line for the Buxted 3rds. A keen devotee of real ale and reggae, he supports Charlton Athletic.
