Ed Upright

On a trip back home to Sunderland, Ed found a stash of late-1980s WSC back issues. This thrilling discovery was a reminder of a time when, despite being seven and not really understanding what was going on, the magazine was bought for him by his educationally minded father. This seemed to do more good than harm however and so on leaving university in 2004 and noticing a vacancy at WSC it resembled a sensible choice. Started out at WSC as publishing assistant and moved through the ranks (as much as one can here) to become news editor, before emigrating to New York in 2011.
