My Favourite Season ~

Funnily enough, I happened to be flicking through an old copy of Rothmans the other night and found myself looking at Scunthorpe's attendances (it is a thrilling life I lead). They were at the 2-3,000 mark all season, then suddenly they had over 7,000 for the final game of the season - a 3-0 defeat to Cardiff.

Turning to the Cardiff section confirmed that they were busy winning the title - it must have been 92/3, I suppose. I'm guessing the Scunthorpe fans were somewhat outnumbered that day.
