When did you first realise football was broken? ~ Supporters dying on a semi-regular basis in football grounds in the 85-89 era because of appalling facilities, alarming incompetence by idiot owners and administrators and a general culture of neglect throughout the game to the extent that the sport needed Thatcher to tell it how to save itself.
So with due deference to some of the complex modern issues the game faces, I'll actually subscribe to the notion that the game is far from broken. It has been actually mended considerably over the past two decades. Posted by dalliance 15-02-2008 Go to thread
