Joyce Woolridge

By printing Joyce Woolridge's first ever article, WSC unwittingly launched her other life as an occasional football writer of little consequence. They also recommended her for the dream job of working with Brian McClair on his autobiography, Odd Man Out, allowing her the opportunity to witness candid moments 'behind the scenes' at Old Trafford such as Peter Schmeichel reading the paper. A regular contributor to Manchester United fanzine United We Stand, she also has a Phd in football history - honestly - and is responsible for several impenetrable academic articles on the same.
