Luca Ferrato lives in Pavia, Italy. He writes for “Mr Football”, a Guerin Sportivo monthly dedicated to English soccer. He has always been crazy about Subbuteo and even today boasts to his friends that in teenage years he was the proud owner of extremely rare teams such as 1984 Brazil Olympics, Coventry City with the big T on the chest and the Dutch team Go Ahead Eagles. In February 2008 he edited a collection of short stories about the flicking game, Vite in punta di dito, published in Italy. He is a Rossonero from birth and he debuted at San Siro for a Mila v Sambenedettese match in 1982 (in Serie B), at a time when people said that the club's president really supported the city’s other team.
