Not the really big ones. Just the little ones.

Here's one of mine.

When the cable from your mp3 player's earphones snags in a fold in your clothing, for example between your jacket and your shirt, not strongly enough that it rips them out of your ear, but just strongly enough that it tugs at your earlobe, and when you try to tilt or turn your head there's a slight resistance.

That is annoying.

With a car's central locking, it's annoying when you don't remember if you locked it or not. Clicking the button again to see the number of blinks from the indicators is useless; I can never remember whether two blinks means the car is locked or not. So I'll need to walk back and check the doors manually.

Ooh, I do that almost every time. But mine has unlock and lock buttons so I just open and shut it all again, because I haven't tested what happens if you press the lock button twice. I imagine it doesn't open all the doors again to punish your forgetfulness, but you never know. The general uncertainty stems from the infamous occasion when I remembered to press the lock button but had forgotten to physically close one of the doors.

I hate it when you've stuffed your mp3 player's earphones into your pocket, and then when you take them out not only are they hopelessly tangled, but once you've unravelled them you find they've actually tied themselves in a knot. How is that even possible?

Also, ugly people who stink of shit.

My headphone cable gets caught under the edge of my laptop cooler, so when I staned up they get completely yanked out of my ears. It's really annoying.

Yeah, it's a fan you put under your laptop to keep it cool, so that the performance doesn't deteriorate.

When you drop something small and fiddly. So you pick it up. But you instantly drop it again. So you pick it up again. Then you instantly drop it a third time. That is when I when I go completely mental!

It's only a minor annoyance to most, but it makes me go into complete meltdown. It's just such a minor thing, but so infinitely annoying!

Trying to pick a bit of shell out of your rapidly frying egg.

When your headphones are just starting to break and you end up contorting and twisting the cable a bit to get it in the right position, which is inevitably thrown out of goose by the cadence of your walking.

Getting on the bus, or queuing in a shop behind someone (usually my girlfriend) who likes paying for things with the exact change.

My t-shirt sleeves keep catching on the handle of the living room door. You know when Spike, the dog in the Tom & Jerry cartoons, tries to chase Tom, but doesn't realise he's still chained to his kennel? That happens.

I get something similar - the pockets of my tracksuit bottoms get caught on door handles. It's ridiculous.

I'd be annoyed if my car key simply toggled, as G-Man's seems to. If I can't remember whether I've locked the car, I just lock the car. In fact, I've got into the belt-and-braces habit of locking it before I walk away, then turning and relocking after about ten yards.

I like the fact that this thread is entirely about getting things snagged. Let's keep it that way.

In the downstairs toilet at home the seat won't stay up, so you have to hold it with one hand while manouvring your undies, your flies and your cock with the other while you pee.

Now, the one upstairs has been playing silly buggers too, sometimes you can make it stay up, othertimes it doesn't want to play.

Cycling home from work, there are two sets of traffic lights that are perfectly timed so that unless you sprint hard on the bike you will always catch the second one on red.

There are two doors with code locks to enter my office, the second one is at my waist height so I always have to stoop to enter the code.

On my plasma TV the order of the attached devices is a minor annoyance. It goes empty; wii; xbox360; pc; virgin tv; digital tv. I mainly use virgin tv, then xbox then wii. You can only scroll round one way, so it takes more key presses and time than ideal.

It's a minor annoyance when getting on the bus, and people, who have been queuing with/near you (often my wife) wait until standing in front of the oyster reader to try to locate their oyster card.

JtS: get yourself a Logitech Harmony remote. One remote for all your devices (apart from the Wii) and a single button takes you straight to the right video input (and audio if you use an amp).

I hate it when you've stuffed your mp3 player's earphones into your pocket, and then when you take them out not only are they hopelessly tangled, but once you've unravelled them you find they've actually tied themselves in a knot. How is that even possible?

They answered this question, which is far from a minor annoyance, on the Naked Scientist, but I managed to miss that episode. Grr.

We've got an electric fan on in the office here because of the highly sophisticated temperature control system (colder than outside in winter, hotter than outside in summer). Anyway we have to have it rotating so everyone gets a bit of air but that means every 15 seconds or so, 5 seconds of me hair being blown into me eyes. It's like water torture or something after a while.
