Apologies for delay in replying.

Yeah, forms submitted last week. Ironically, the form filling bit seems unncessarily complicated, eg. it won't accept phone numbers with spaces in between, but all it tells you is that you haven't submitted a correct phone number, but after that the embassy have been incredibly helpful.

After struggling to work out what was/wasn't required we opted to follow it by the letter of the form and so only completed the bits that it said were required. Therefore, for previous employers we just submitted their name (rather than with address, phone numbers etc as it didn't look like they were required fields) and the form was accepted.

Then got phone calls and emails explaining that those details were needed and spelling out in really helpful detail exactly what was needed.

Just a shame you have to go through the frustration of trial and error to get to the helpful & friendly staff stage.

The only problem with the holiday is that, far too late, it has dawned on us that we'll be missing games 2-4 of the World Series..
