That's the one. Magnificent, isn't it? That's the citadel on top of the hill overlooking Montevideo Bay - the hill Rampla is at the bottom of. First time I was in Montevideo, I'd have loved to visit their ground (we did do the Centenario, Central Español, River Plate, Montevideo Wanderers and I think Liverpool), but we didn't know where it was. I found out later that, after visiting the citadel, we'd been waiting for the bus back into the centre of town for about half an hour, right round the corner from it.
