A shopping centre seems an unusual thing to advertise. I don't know the geography of Rotherham, but logic dictates to me that if you need to do some shopping, you'd go to the shops. Rather than going on a whim because a shirt orders it.

Maybe the sponsor is persuading people to go out and buy new gates for their local park.

It took a while for the South Wales Echo to realise it was pointless them sponsoring Cardiff's away shirt

And Dickens were hardly known for their global reach. The way things are going we'll be doing well to have the Herald & Post or even the Circuit next season.

The sponsor's logo doesn't make it easy, but this is another spectacularly ugly Bolton kit. I've got a slight soft spot for the over-sized Reebok logo on the shorts, but only because it reminds me of my PE shorts circa 1997:

The new Burnley kit (replacing my favourite of recent years) has a stupid collar and an even stupider band of white:

Believe it or not that is an improvement on the last couple of efforts. I think reebok use the teaboy to design our kits.

I think it's quite nice. The sponsor is very lower division, though, isn't it.

It's shit. From collar to piping to geometric background pattern.

I started a new kit thread for next season a month or two ago. I'm a bit bitter about this thread's existence.

Surely that Liverpool shirt is a mock-up?

And EIM, I like to think I am the formal curator of all official kit threads, OK?

I sympathise about the 2008/9 kit, but it's hardly Reebok's fault that Bolton are craven enough to let their sponsors influence the design of the last two kits (with trim that suspiciously echoes the design of the sponsors' logo).

I read somewhere that reebok paid for Jorg Haider's election video, so if that was true, the kit's not their worst crime

Rather remarkably (at least to me) there is in fact some basis to that claim.

Though it appears that Reebok HQ were appalled, and that the Austrian manager responsible was sacked.
