Nice welcome. Who's Gonzo?

PS to answer the question, as a Catholic I'm interested in the thread. I'll try not to let orange bigots like Calvert wind me up.

As a lifelong Catholic I am of course saddened by the revelations of sexual abuse. The Holy Father's recent encyclical and his imminent visit to these islands must begin the long and difficult process of healing. We must not forget the great love of the Church and all it has done for millions across the World, but a period of self-examination must follow. And the election of a more reformist pontiff in due course. Subject to the wishes of our Lord.

You are welcome 'Why on Earth'.

Roger Boyes is his real name.

It's also the third time that link has been posted in the last 12 hours (twice on this thread).

I think a period of self-examination must follow.

Indeed, though too much self-examination may lead to self-abuse and the last thing I would wish to do is cast myself into the fiery pit of hairy handedness.

I await the Holy Father's guidance.

Apologies if I missed the previous links.

Meanwhile, the breaking news story on the wires is that Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been involved in a fatal tragedy involving a former French international footballer…

No, garcia :p

I see SSS's reading comprehension hasn't improved during his merciful absence.

Who was it who asked "what would it take?"? I'll confess, the Murphy case is running me very fucking close. I am literally sick to my stomach.

I could not more succinctly sum up the nature of your position if I tried; and if I did, garcia would accuse me of trying to read your mind. But here it is in black and white. What this means for you, principally, is not the horror of child rape, but that the pontiff was "got"...

For his complicity in child rape, which is one of the many reasons TMK is so full of rage at the Church, which holds huge political power in his and your countries, as well as where I live.

I think you've said some sickening things about your mate, to be honest, and I can't see why you won't apologise.
