Referees always bottle out of giving straight reds to players who commit dangerous fouls after they have been booked already.

Referee's bottle out of giving any kind of straight red to a player who's already been booked though. not just violent ones. When vidic dragged down kuyt as he ran through on goal earlier this season, the ref gave him a second yellow, even though it was the most blatantly cynical professional foul you'll ever see. (but the ref had made a rod for his own back by only booking carragher for hauling down owen)

Whilst watching the football on Saturday, my Mrs opined that I "look like Arshavin, but with Nicklas Bendtner's hair". Bloody charming, that.

Still, it could be worse. I could have Andrey's "7 year-old heading off to boarding school" SB&S.

I think Arshavin's brilliant, but he's missed a boatload of sitters in the few games I've seen recently.

It's like he's playing down to Bendtner's level or something.

Ah, I didn't realise there was actually a picture of Bono in there (what with it being THE FIRST PICTURE IN THE GALLERY, I'm sure you can excuse me).
