The most expensive, overrated midget in recent premier league history has scored the crucial 94th minute 3rd goal in a 3-1 home win over mighty burnley. Surely Arsene wenger has never made a smarter move in his career than to make this lion the lost highly paid, and most expensive player in the club's history. It was the genius' first goal in six games, and second in 13.

The goal really wrapped up a nailbiting game where nicklas bendtner showed his class and his sporting nature by passing 6 gilt chances (yes 6) in the minutes just after half time.

Truly who can worry about the first half substitution of cesc fabregas, and that mikael silvestre and thomas vermaelen neither understand the offside rule, nor marking, when you have players as lethal as arshavin and bendtner.

It was fucking hard work, especially when I was at the mercy of a radio. Uncertain until the final 20 seconds. Yet still we bumble on to inevitable and hilarious Premier League title glory.

I'd like to see Arsenal win the title.

Neither of the alternatives are very palatable.

man utd would be better off fielding owen up front, torn hamstring or not, than berbatov as the middle of a front three. Hell, they'd be better off with me up ther.

Good lord that was grim. Wolves played really well up until the goal, then immediately gave up three or four chances. lets just say that diouf is er finding his feet at this level, but still managed to do more in a couple of minutes than berbatov.

I was very impressed by the way that sam vokes was able to scoop over the bar from only four yards in the last minute of injury time. That could be rather important by the end of the season.

Perhaps Ferguson will try Scholes or Giggs as a second striker, like he did a few years ago.

Giggs is out for ages. If macheda gets fit he'll definitely get a run in the team. I could see him scoring one of the chances that diouf missed

what have manchester united done to Berbatov. He went there as a sublime striker and creator. Now looks about as good a signing as Veron.

Berbatov v Top 4 (at Spurs): Goals 6, Points earned 4

Berbatov v Top 4 (at Man U, replacing Man U with Spurs in tally - well, are they a top 4 side or aren't they?): Goals 3, Points earned 9

After hearing how abject Bendtner was today, I am very impressed he did a post-match with R5 especially as he was so honest and self-critical during it.

To say the least. He out-Bendtered Bendtner tonight.

Didn't realise Vokes' missed sitter was his first touch since coming on as sub. I guess that almost kind of excuses him.

I haven't seen the Vokes miss yet but, listening to the game on the radio, I did wonder as he came on "What is the point of bringing on a striker in the 88th minute?"

Did Arshavin make the "shhh!" gesture after his goal? He does it so often I am convinced that he will do it at home eventually, or after an own goal, which would be sublime.

Hands on nutsack, didn't you almost lose a ball holding it so firm in a grip of longing and anticipation of him joining your Manchester U, right after the cup?
