Kalou should be booked there, given that Milito was.

Although it looked like he was fouled, on the replay. Even if he did exaggerate it.

The worst thing about football on ITV, against some mindbogglingly stiff competition, has to be the inevitability of that Ray Winstone betting advert coming on at half time. With his fucking eyes moving as he reads his 90-odd words off a fucking autocue. I always think of Krusty the Clown recording the phrases for his talking doll.

Did it? I wasn't convinced. Samuel's foot stamped in to the ground and Kalou threw himself down I thought

The names Milito and Eto'o are causing Townshend awful trouble.

He's going with Cambi-arse-oh, as well.

I was convinced with the first replay, but less so when they showed it again at half-time. I don't think Kalou helped his chances by throwing his arms up, that's for sure.

"Ancelotti deep in thought, his hands deep in those pockets too. What does he have up his sleeves though?"

Really, just fuck off Rider.

See, I thought his name was Steve Ryder but ITV had it up as Rider earlier, and Wikipedia seems to agree. I'm sure he's changed his surname at some point.

(Heh, and now you've changed it too.)

You'd think Thiago Motta could have been bothered to close down Ivanovic there.

Yes, I edited my mistake before I read your post. I think we're confused with Sue Ryder of charity shop fame.

Even for Tyldsley, shouting "YES!" for a Chelsea goal is ridiculous.

It's a three goal thriller. Who could have seen that coming.

I guess Mourinho realises that a 2-1 lead might not be enough for the second leg, so he's going for it with Balotelli on to play up against Malouda.

I'm sure Hilario might be able to help out, as well, given a chance.

Did Green just say 'horrible scoreline, great game'? He can speak for himself on the former.

I would have loved to hear the ITV team's comments if that (possibly unintentional) stamp by Kalou on Lucio had been the other way around.

They also appear to think "this Lucio" is some previously unheralded newcomer.

Inter haven't done enough here.

Who is this Lucio player, He is having a good game and could force his way into the England reckoning alongside Garath Bale and Boaz Myhill.

Lawro going on about Chelsea's lack of width. Maicon is a good player, isn't he?
