Tommy Burns and Davie Cooper both brought a seismic shift in both sets of fans thinking.Doyle was a firebrand who really was despised by the Ibrox fathful.I still remember the end of season title decider at Parkhead that Celtic won 4-2.Up til the point that Doyle was red carded we were looking good for the title,but his sending off changed the entire game.Up till that point he was actually working against his team by his antics,but his red card inspired them on to the win for the title.There are few Old Firm players who in death both sets of fans respect their passing.Sad really but i guess it doesn't stop at the Old Firm?

My initial posting was that the "Turban/Rose" song is sung at rugby matches - I didn't suggest that all rugby fans are racist...

Well, this does rather suggest just that;

Yes, those jolly japesters who are all just a barrel of laughs, otherwise known as Welsh rugby fans, sing "I'd rather wear a turban than a rose".

Ignorant cunts, the lot of them

Happy that you've since cleared it up but it's not as if I was being particularly sensitive or oblique.

As for biased amounts of media coverage, I think I'm right in assuming you don't live in Wales any more do you?

Not exactly a swift riposte but it only just occurred to me. I live in Bath so I know a rugby-obsessed local media when I see it
