Ah that's what it is. They showed that on the telly here the other day but I had the sound switched off and was cooking, by the time I got to the TV to turn the volume up they'd stopped talking about it. The caption under the picture on the TV didn't say who it was or when it was taken, but the essence was that they were laughing at it because the picture they showed was taken before the chap fourth from the right had turned up (such mature humour in these parts).

At the risk of sounding a bit gay, I think the best-looking kit is Ghana's, when stretched tight across muscular black flesh.

Ha ha, a black star stretched over a black star.

I hadn't noticed the Fennec Fox on the Algeria shirt until their game against Slovenia. They certainly have the cutest mascot.

This might have been covered elsewhere, but what was the deal on the Aussie strip they played in against Germany? There seemed to be no need for them to play in those sort of colours. I'm not even sure I know what they were.

Think it's a Nike thing with the away kit. I checked the nikeshop site about a month ago, and they had the designated shirts for every game listed. As in Australia wear blue/gold for Germany etc. It appeared that every Nike sponsored team would wear their away kit at least once.

Seems like they're trying to promote each shirt, no need to wear the away kit v Germany otherwise. I'm a big believer in sports psychology, think we might have performed a bit better wearing green and gold...
