Spain and Turkey completed the finals lineup on Sunday, joining Belgium, Greece, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Ireland, Serbia and the hosts in Romania next month.

Thanks to both of you for that.

Some more info about the tournament:

The draw for the finals, which begin on 20 July and culminate on 1 August, takes place at the headquarters of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) on Wednesday at 17.30 local time (16.30CET).

Genclerbirligi coach Giray Burak just got sacked after about a week in the job. Reason? He has not transferred anyone yet...

That does appear to be the case, yesterday they announced two signings but I guess the players he promised to bring did not materialise, only in Turkey MM.

Fuat Çapa is the new man at Gençlerbirligi, he will not last the season is all I know.

Robert Green looks set to join Bursaspor, if Kenny Miller is on 50,000 pounds a week expect him to be signing for something similar, that is an after tax figure of course.

Now what on Earth are Trabzon up to? Umut, Ceyhun, Selcuk, Yattara and Jaja out. Have they given up? Granted, Zokora might just do wonders, but these are pretty much the first five players Günes would pick for any match.

Trabzonspor are certainly in the shite MM, especially as the six players leaving made up the spine of their team. Egemen was the centre half but played the last games at left back, Selçuk and often Ceyhun were in the centre of midfield and Umut partnered Burak up front.

Egemen, Selçuk and Ceyhun were all out of contract and left. Ceyhun had a one year option which was not taken up.

Umut nearly went in the January transfer window to Toulouse, many numbers have been mentioned so my guess is he had a buy out clause. He has also taken so much stick from his own fans so no surprise he wants to try pastures new.

Jaja and Yattara are off to UAE and Saudi respectively, Jaja was a difficult character and Yattara flattered to deceive so not huge loses.

There are more players on their way to Trabzon though, more Poles to make it four or five at the club. With Cale and Colman rumoured to be leaving the club is revising its foreign contingent.

Lots more transfers going on with Mersin buying up any Besiktas reject, Nobre and Hakan Arikan have come with three or four more on their way probably including Tabata.

Trabzonspor's new signing from Galatasaray, Baris Özbek, is out for six months after getting injured in his first training session with his new club.

Sezer Öztürk has finally signed for Fenerbahçe but trouble brews as Fabio Bilica who has gone to Eskisehirspor as part of the deal maybe wanted by his old boss and current boss of Eskisehirspor but the fans are against him coming.

Serdar Tasçi has been quoted by the Turkish media as saying he regrets not choosing to play for Turkey.

Rumours coming out of Fenerbahçe have them selling Niang, sounds strange but who knows.

Tomas Ufalasi has signed for Galatasaray and Reyes is expected to arrive in Istanbul today for negotiations.

Finally Bernd Schuster has been questioning Mourinho's decision to sign Hamit Altintop, guess he is just asking the same question as pretty much all of us.

In the U17 World Cup in Mexico Germany beat Ecuador 6-1 with four of the goals coming from players of Turkish origin. In addition to this the starting eleven had six players, including the captain, of Turkish origin.

Expect them to be pestered to play for Turkey until they have to make a decision and then get called a traitor, like Mesut Özil, if they do choose Germany.

The current transfer policy of a number of Turkish clubs is to scour Germany and to a lesser extent the other European leagues for any Turkish players.
