Well, the final outcome of appeals and everything else have seen Salisbury City slung out of the conference and Forest Green reprieved yet again.

BBC story here

Grays Athletic meanwhile are still in the Essex Senior League unless an appeal to the Ryman league is successful.

The FA have pretty much given fans a free pass to invade the pitch and affect a game any way they like.

They've dismissed Kingstonian's appeal, without even giving a reason concerning the key point (that a Boreham Wood fan punching our captain who was at fault for the first goal of the game five minutes later had a serious impact on the game).

How it took them two and a half months to come to such a non-decision is beyond me.

On a different note, Grays ended up in Ryman 1 North, another shambolic situation, which delayed the publication of fixtures by about a week. The only reason they haven't landed themselves with a 23-team divsion is because Ashford Town have pulled out of the league due to money worries.

The Grays situation isn't quite as shambolic as it sounds. They lost their ground and wanted to groundshare with East Thurrock Utd, but East Thurrock had also agreed a groundshare with Hutton FC, a Brentwood based club whose clubhouse burnt down last season. The difficulty arose with having three clubs using the same ground. The situation was eventually resolved as Hutton play in the Essex Olympian league who have almost non-existent ground grading regulations.

Also, Ashford Town (Mx) going to the Kent County league means Chatham Town have been transferred to the Ryman South which makes far more sense. Ashford Town have also gone into administration - althought the end of July seems like an odd time for a football club to go into administration.

Psst, it's the Ashford Town in Kent, not Middlesex.

The Nuts and Bolts are in all sorts of trouble - one director is trying to have the club wound up, and the other one has put the club into administration. The FA have suspended the club for non-payment of loan fees, and ground-sharing tenants Maidstone have been evicted because they supposedly hadn't obtained a licence for the satellite tv they had installed in the bar.
