It must be agonising at Christie Park right now. Still 0-0, which keeps Morecambe precariously in the play-offs.

If they don't get through, I get to play on the pitch tomorrow as part of a farewell to Christie Park tournament.

Extraordinarily, the other scores currently put Morecambe in fourth place. How's that for a late season run?

Timing and positioning Mumpo, this is the D2 thread.

Or is Phoebe playing you onside from the Play-offs thread?

A couple of fortunate refereeing decisions and some brilliant last-gasp defending, and Cardiff hang on for the 1-0 win.

It's the time of year to review early season predictions.

How strong were those Leicester penalty shouts? They were at the far end from us so we roundly mocked the home support for their claims.

All the City fans I watch with walked out, after an initial bit of celebration talking about "Stoke again" and "insurance bets". It's only half time.

I was expecting an exodus from Newcastle at the time. The fact players like Nolan hung around in the Championship, when I expected a Premier team to come in for him was key.

6th-9th is still a better prediction than The Times that said 20th.

Even 442 that said Newcastle would be first, had Ipswich in 2nd place, Forest 11th, Peterborough 12th & Leicester 18th?!?

Yeah I think 2nd place was a bit optimistic (I thought we'd be challenging around the playoff but are start put paid to that) but I predict we'll be at least top 8 pushing for the play-offs next year if we win half of our 20 (yes 20!) draws and lost the other half we'd have been 4th. 442's predictions are often well wide of the mark - I suspect they'll kneejerk their prediction to mid table next season for the blues.

I also predict Alan Green will make me shout at the radio again before this season's finished!

Welcome, ipswichjon.

How strong were those Leicester penalty shouts? They were at the far end from us so we roundly mocked the home support for their claims.

There was one, the McNaughton handball, that looked like a definite penalty to me.

Thanks for the welcome! Two great play-off games midweek, I really hope Blackpool go up, it'd be good for Jimmy Armfield (one of the few good summarisers on 5Live) and Ian Hollaway who seems to be a nice bloke and a decent manager.
