Italy could have taken Spain if Donadoni had got rid of Luca Toni and replaced him with a potted geranium. Grosso could have made his cross to a stationery target that would ricochet the ball into the net. Toni was not capable of that.

Good take cannon, if a bit flawed. If Italy was going to line up a potted plant, it wouldn't have been a geranium. It would have been a bushfull of nettles surrounded by thorny vines and fed with a special preparation from Dr Ferrari.

I can't believe people here are trying to make out Spain winning is some kind of moral victory. They've got all the worst traits of Arsenal (the fannyness, the self-aggrandisement, the sycophants wibbling on about their style of play - which was just as toilet as Italy's the other day but not hampered by having a novice managing them) and that jelly-kneed albino cheat shitcunt Torres up front, who has a face that needs a iron slamming into it. Fuck Spain and their racist cunt manager, I can't wait to watch you fail agonisingly again.

I'm not taking any moral highground. By the way, the insult is shitcunt, not albino; I used it because he's a pasty twat.

Incidentally if albino is a mortally offensive racial epithet then I apologise. I've not seen anything in my time that suggests it is though.
