The other one I'd quibble with is Tom Fordyce. The BBC live blogs are very poor attempts to copy the Guardian, but with only a fraction of the wit.

Yes, I find Our Clare utterly unwatchable.

Patrick Collins should have got something.

Lawrence Booth's is thoroughly deserved. As, of course, is Conn's.

Of people not listed, I still enjoy Martin Johnson when I can remember who he works for, and when he's writing about cricket and not rugby.

I just wanted to add to my praise of Booth, who was also kind enough too send an autographed copy of one of his books to ursus minor.

Some journalists appear just as much full of this luvvy stuff as actors, don't they? It seems peculiar for an industry where skepticism and suspicion might be viewed as positive traits to have an awards ceremony.
