Hello film buffs, I'm in the process of pitching an article on hilarious straight-to-DVD/video sequels, and I need a bit of help filling up the list. I've got a couple already (with this so far being my favourite), but if there are any other amusing suggestions that you've found elsewhere than post it up here.

Your reward will be me in print, and with a few extra quid in my pocket.

Disney have form for this. Aladdin 2 went straight to video relying as it did on a Robin Williams impersonator for the genie rather than Williams himself.
When my little sister put it on, I thought it was some kind of knock-off animation, so much shitter was it.

I have seen White Noise 2 and can confirm that it's as worthless and as twatty as its straight-to-DVD status suggests. Mind you, so was the first film.

I'd also like to say that the face of the kid on the sleeve of Ace Ventura Jr. invites a good slap. I can only shudder with fear at what the film may be like. Goes for the rest of them, too.

Hard to top the ones in UA's link. That said, I think Chris Sims may have reviewed a few over at the Invincible Super Blog. Mostly, though, he does reviews of those terrible third party knock-offs like Transmorphers.

Can't have a straight-to-video thread without the impressive Tremors series.

Who wouldn't want to watch "Tremors V: The Thunder from Down Under"?

American Psycho 2 (the last one at ua's link) was the one that immediately sprang to mind for me.

Hahaha Ursus, some of those are simply wonderful. I was hoping that American Psycho 2 was my own dirty little secret, but alas no.

Edit

Inca, check out the link in my original post. I saw the Italian version of the cover in my local supermarket and it's much funnier. A film by Morgan J. Freemon, you say? Hahaha

Is american psycho 2 the one where meg griffin plays some kind of murderous student who kills loads of people at college, and it turns out that she's killed someone in the college and assumed her identity?

Tremors was tongue in cheek from the off, though, so it's not quite the same. I mean, of course the sequels can't hold a candle to the magnificent original, but it was always suppoed to be a B-movie.

Fair point GY, but at some point you do begin to wonder how they are making enough money to get to a fifth one.

I dare say. No doubt one of those movies where it helps to be whacked out on painkillers before viewing.

First there was this....
Soccer Dog!
He's a goal crazy mutt with some winning moves and he's on his way to the championship! Plot:A heart-warming comedy about the friendship between the new kid in town and a soccer-playing dog on the lam from the dog-catcher. It's up to these two underdogs to win the PeeWee Soccer League championship game

which led to this Soccer Dog 2...
SOCCER DOG: EUROPEAN CUP: When an unexpected accident leaves a young boy motherless, he must travel from America to live with his estranged father in Scotland. There he finds himself teaming up with a scientifically enhanced soccer-playing dog that has escaped from the evil scientists who designed him for more nefarious means. Father, son and the incredible soccer dog all band together to bring victory and pride to the downtrodden town.
...sounds quite good actually & it could only improve the SPL but its got Nick Moran in it.
