There is a Welsh (and proud of it) manager working in the English top flight, with a repuatation for getting teams to achieve significantly beyond their playing resources.
But Rory Delap has already played for Ireland and Mame Sidibe for Mali, so that one is probably out.

Quite understandably, Pulis wouldn't want the cut in pay and status at this stage of his career. To go from Toshack to Naked Headbutt Man might be too traumatic for us all, to be honest.

I wondered how to do that "to the power of" thing.

As for the rest of Toshack's "mangerial" (sic) career, I think what he did was largely excellent (until the arse end between his two shots at the Welsh job). The Swansea achievement was massive and it would be churlish not to admire it, I just wish we hadn't blanked him when he approached us first.
