Looking at the run-ins, it's hard to predict any of the top 3 losing another game; and ironically, in my analysis of where points could be won or dropped, Chelsea getting a result at Old Trafford could make the difference not for them but for Arsenal:

Man United (now on 63 points)

Fulham (h) W
Liverpool (h) W
Bolton (a) D
Chelsea (h) D
Blackburn (a) W
Man City (a) D
Spurs (h) W
Sunderland (a) W
Stoke (h) W

Chelsea (now on 61)

West Ham (h) W
Blackburn (a) W
Pompey (a) W
Villa (h) W
Man United (a) D
Bolton (h) W
Spurs (a) D
Stoke (h) W
Liverpool (a) D
Wigan (h) W

Arsenal (now on 61)

Hull (a) W
West Ham (h) W
Birmingham (a) W
Wolves (h) W
Spurs (a) D
Wigan (a) W
Man City (h) W
Blackburn (a) W
Fulham (h) W

That would leave a table of Arsenal 86, Chelsea 85, Man United 84.

All 3 have to go to Blackburn, though - I've assumed away wins for all of them, but those games in my analysis now look critical. Arsenal may hope that Blackburn are already safe by the time they visit, so maybe have less to play for.

Man U won't draw at Bolton. Arsenal could easily not win at Birmingham. And all three will lose at least one game from now on in.

Arsenal are not going to take 25 out of 27 points. That's just not on.

Not as easy to say for certain where they might not get 25 our of 27, though, looking at the run-in.

They won't beat Birmingham.

I have a feeling West Ham will be up for the game at their place as well.

Those results may all look realistic on paper, but you forgot to factor in Arsenal losing their bottle when they hit top spot, and Ferguson winding up the Wigan players to play the game of their lives and get a 2-1 win on the last day

Of Arsenal's fixtures, they could easily drop points at home to a fired-up West Ham, or away to Wigan or Brimingham, or against Man City. Their run in isn't the most difficult, but there are plenty of pitfalls nonetheless. I'd certainly back either of the other two to have more solidity, mental strength and consistency when it comes to the crunch.

Obviously I'm hoping Arsenal win it, though, like any right-thinking person.

I'd have been seriously laughed off the board if I hadn't confidently predicted that (Wigan and Lille have just done so in the last five days).

Not so sure about Chelsea coming to Anfield and getting three points, though - that by then could be Rafa's Alamo moment, and in any case (as we showed against Man U last season) Fernando Torres gamboling around in the fresh pastures of spring is a joy to behold.

If what's been rumoured in these parts comes true within the next 24 hours, Arsenal will not win tomorrow.

Russia are going to launch all of those nukes that used to point at Hull when it and anyone living in it meant something?

It was rumoured that Brown Phil had fallen on his sword yesterday. It then subsequently changed to he would go if we got dry bummed tonight.

Having lost so heartbreakingly, i don't know what's going on. Meh.

Be an odd time for him to resign, Hull are mildly over-achieving despite the result at Everton.

He wouldn't be resigning.

Found out today as well that rising star Tom Cairney's head has been fed some weapons-grade bullshit by an unlicensed agent and is now demanding the sort of contract that even Nicolas Anelka's brothers couldn't dream of. As a result he's been dropped from the team.

One car crash relegation, coming right up.

Well I did say a month ago those visits to Ewood Park would be critical to some degree, but the last team I thought would slip up of the 3 was Man U, on a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon. And after Ferguson had wined and dined Big Sam on Thursday at Aintree, as well.

It's definitely a 3-horse race again, now. And if Man City get a result against their neighbours in the derby now, that penultimate weekend Liverpool - Chelsea game I've been fretting about might have less to do with handing the title on a plate to Old Trafford, than helping Arsenal snatch it away from Stamford Bridge.
