One of the interesting aspects of the Peterborough situation is the names that seem to being linked with the job. While the bookies odds initially were all the obvious out of work managers reports seem to be linking managers of Bournemouth (rebuffed apparently), Brentford and Kettering Town. Does this indicate that the chairman has realised that his pockets aren't actually deep enough to compete in the Championship or does he fancy himself as someone who can spot a diamond in a mountain of rocks. I realise that these managers will be with teams that are standing out in their respective leagues at present but then that would also have applied to Darren Ferguson until about six months ago. I'd be very interested to hear what Peterborough supporters had to say and indeed to see where Darren Ferguson does end up. Irecall Graeme Souness telling his "friend" David Murray that he would be joining Liverpool at the end of the season and him being told that he could clear his desk right now. Might a similar conversation have taken place at Peterborough United? - kbmac
