			<description>I have to say, this is a bit rich from the Freedom given the background of their club president, who was famous with the Fire as a VP for his sensitivity to criticism and insular, arrogant attitude. I guess a leopard can change his spots, but this would be quite the transformation if this is anything but some PR bullshit that I would think is aimed more at the Redskins than MLS. - goldstone97</description>

			<description>Whoa, that's a mighty big jump to make NOC, and obviously has nothing to do with what Mr. Plenderleith was talking about.

Especially considering how NFL broadcasters are often judged at how critical they are. John Gruden, former SuperBowl winner with Malcolm Glazer's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was expected to deliver the boom on poor tactics, bad decisions, and dodgy plays this year on Monday Night Football. However, he's turned out to be as milquetoast as his co-announcers, and is largely judged a failure.

Meanwhile, John Madden built a career out of talking about failure, and Chris Collinsworth is considered the best announcer because of how critical he is. No, the MLS does not need a bobblehead press corps telling the world that chickenshit is chickensoup. - jason voorhees</description>
