I never thought i'd say it, but "come back, Matt Smith, all is forgiven" there was a certain charm to the itv league show i thought, i think perhaps because it was on sunday morning rather than saturday night, it was almost reflective, rather than excited, they knew we knew the scores, and just wanted to see the action, and that was what they gave us. - CarsmileSteve

Bet the Norwich fans wished the tart on the shitter had come on during their game. Good show for Sky Plus this, far too much gassing - MarcB1972

The total difference between this and the regular MOTD/MOTD2 programmes highlights an issue that WSC has repeatedly mentioned since Sky invented football back in 1992 - that supporters of lower league teams are patronised rather than praised. It was almost (almost) comical to witness their almost abject apologies to the viwers at having to commentate on Newcastle United.

Hey, it's not just me! I thought the cut away to the ladies' loos might have been a fault with Virgin cable TV or something as Manish didn't mention it when normal service was resumed. Glad other people saw it too. I thought I was going mad for a second.

The emails/text thing has GOT to go - absolute dross and cut into valuable football watching time. The only good thing about it was still having the camera feed on Manish in the background as the girl wittered on - anyone else see him take a huge slurp of tea while she pleaded for people to send in emails? - Jongudmund

Someone also needs to tell Dan O'Hagan to brush up on his lower league knowledge. He pretty much contrived to get at least one name wrong per game, 2 in the case of my team Cardiff City. Even Wikipedia would have informed him that it's Ross, rather than Lee McCormack. - martyn111
