The anticipation and speculation is really the fun part. Like gifts at Christmas time, where waiting for the morning to open them is much more exciting than the contents of said gift, or better yet (for us older folk at least), hitting on the pretty girls at the pub is the fun part, taking them home just leads to disapointment. Spending late July and early August following the tranfer market and reading up on ownership changes fills us with excitment and hope.
