			<description>Most journalists love Redknapp – while many of his colleagues treat reporters with varying degrees of suspicion, he’s affable, talkative and funny, a constant source of good copy.

You think? I always see this mumbling dull person of very little charisma and interest. He probably gives good copy and has the knack of initiating maximum chumminess with reporters, but, blimey, he's ordinariness unconfined. And winning the FA Cup last season doesn't make him a managerial powerhouse (even Steve McClaren won a major domestic honour, and has it enhanced his reputation?). 

His appeal eludes me.
