And while the Yanks took the early lead, Boston has come back with a vengeance and leads the attack on rival fans scoreboard 2-1. My favorite was pulling the dad out of a car and beating him with a baseball bat in front of his son.

You know how you get songs stuck in your head sometimes? Well sometimes I get words. Sometimes those words are names. For the past few days, and I have no idea why, I've been repeating the words "El Duque" in my head over and over. Am I going crazy?

probably not, and thanks for that pic FF: shame it wasnt the Yanks pins he is wearing.
Incidentally, WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO. About time too. We (ding) are starting to play like a team that is spending $220 million a year... I saw the Chamberlain thing the other night, and he was brilliant.
Pettite was his usual 'lucky' self last night, but if the Yanks' bats stay hot, you can all kiss your rings goodbye. Of course its not going to happen, but at least Iget to feel good baseball wise for now.
I think the Nady trade from the Pirates may be the piece de resistance from the Turd Jr (copyright c2008) and although the Minor League teams are down to one guy and his pet fish, at least we have back up in the pen, as Farnsworth is currently hurling like my granny after a particularly nasty stag night (when she was the entertainment, and the stag was a Marseille fisherman, fresh from work)
