So, you tightarsed Nederlanders, is it still a 2 horse race, or are PSV so far ahead that Ajax just signed Stephen Hendry?

From my POV, we got a couple of jongen who may or may not be good. I fear more than the worst. But I always do, and therein lies the problem:

Should I say that I think Sparta have a chance of Europe this year (especially if there is a war), or should I shut up?

I go to see them for the second time on the 31st August v Den Haag... I am not filled with hope (Ik hoop niet)

Mijn ex vriend is taking me around the ground etc, and I fully expect a shit meal at the doo-dah executive (sic, not sure if that works with Sparta, all I know is that there will be free champagne and a slice of meat) and I want to know how to behave.

Do I take my 'Celticness' there, or do I pretend that I am human? If I have the choice, and if my ex is anything to go by, I will be screaming my tits off before the game kicks off (yes I know the words, you wankbag ajax fans).

I have never been so excited in mijn liefde.

Please otf-Kanobe, you are my only hope: I have all that, and the Celtic v Rangers game is on at the same time.

What do I do?

OH, and feel free to make this the Eredivisie place for that sort of thing, if there is anyone left in there. (The Dutch League has just been strip-mined)

Ajax looked rather out of sorts in the Amsterdam tournament, though I think MvB was using it to try to acclimatise guys who don't normally get a first team run out. PSV will miss Gomes. It will be interesting to see how McClaren does at Twente.

From where I sit, overall quality is in decline, but the league has become more competitive top to bottom. There isn't a reason why Sparta can't contend for a UEFA place.

I've decided it's time for me to decisively pick an Eredivisie team to throw my (not inconsiderable) weight behind.

In the end there can be only one. I've visited their lovely hometown, I've seen their very tidy and Dutch stadium through a minibus window, they have the best stoner rock festival in the world right on their doorstep, and they have three-colour stripes on their shirts. Ladies and Gents, it's going to be WILLEM II.

Now what are some good sites to learn about this kind of stuff (and practice my Dutch)? Hard Gras?
