Pictures are tacky. Also, have you considered dark grey text on a black background? It lends gravitas.

Can't advise on content (unless you want something on bunions or methadone), but I'd recommend turning on the anti-alasing in photoshop to make your logo smoother. Like this:

I listened to the tracks on your site PT. I'm not persuaded to like disco based on the first bunch - most of which I've heard before - but I will not contest that there's some clever production and musicianship in there. I'm just terribly big on production and musicianship is not as important to me as writing and hooks.

The electronic ones are more appealing to me. However, I would not have called those disco. I would have thought that anything with such a conspicuously electronic sound would by definition not be disco but techno or eurodance or somesuch.

I want to do a feature on Italian hiphop, but that will involve being over there and learning the language. So you might have to wait a bit.

as strange as it may seem, i prefer the lack of bolding Carcass.
i use bold, as the email parser that i use to post on my blog wont allow italics or something like that.
so i have some 'rules' :
tracknames - shown in teal.
album titles - underlined.
artist/band names - bold.
(or sommat like that)
but when used at supposedly random points in a lot of text, i'm preferring way of the Fall article.
