D'oh! Sorry, Statto. My irony detector needs a new battery.

That's because you spent all your money on the battery that you put in the Aints.

Shitehawks and Aints and Gridiron Bros alone at 4-0. Only one of those teams plays on Bizzaroworld.

No problem, FF.

Just like early last year, if I remember correctly, I've got the second highest points total in the league and I'm mid-table with a 1-3 record. Sheesh.

I think I've scored about 5 points in total at QB this season. I might just as well draft in Brady and be done with it, at least I'll not get negative points. This week I managed to get fewer points at QB than my opponent - who picked one having a bye week. Plus I had a running back who managed 2 yards on 7 carries. Somehow managed to scrape a win, regardless, thank god the Gridiron brothers are even worse than I am

I hear you. So far my weekly QB totals have been:
-0.87 (Palmer)
-2.32 (Palmer)
3.87 (Kitna, YAY!)
0.00 (Palmer)
-3.02 (Kitna)
Giving me a grand total of -2.34 for the entire season at quarterback!

I would think that Ad Hochuli would be a really good name for ad hoc's fantasy team.

That's brilliant, Inca. Wish I had thought of it.

I don't get it.

Mind you I still like Badh Erdely.

(For those who don't get that one, Erdely is the Hungarian word for Transylvania, which as I live in a Hungarian speaking part of Transylvania is apt. It's pronounced Air-day. Thus... (well, you can work out the rest))

That should have been my team name.

Hochuli is a well-known NFL official.

I must give a shout out to Reggie Bush of the Saints and the Aints. I wonder how long my Patriotic winning streak will go on.

And it's pronounced "hock-you-lee," so the "ad hoc" still really works.

I had never heard of him before he blew it in the Chargers-Broncos game. I don't know the names of any NFL officials, really, but I like that one African-American ref that pauses a little bit before doing the arm motions, and then does them really emphatically.

Ad Hoc - as FF/Inca said, but to say it quick, Ed Hochuli is having the most shocking season in quite some time. Perhaps the most controversial, shocking season of all-time. He's the Graham Poll/Hugh Dallas of the NFL.

To make it worse, he has these long, convoluted explanations for all of his decisions. While he must think it explains his reasoning, it only makes him look more lamebrained and dopey. It comes off like a loopy school principal trying to discipline kids with weirdo logic that only brings more disrespect and giggling from the students.

Will it all make sense if I tell you he's a trial lawyer?

Having finally tired of a month's worth of match-up losing tripe I took a deep breath and dropped superstar Peyton Manning against the NFL's probably current best defense.

Approaching half time he has 170 yards passing and 3 TDs.

Though of course, my run of great scores from my QB position is continuing, statto, and you look like being fine. (Though this hurts you almost as much as it does me, since he's (not) throwing to two of your receivers)

Hester's actually doing ok, ad hoc. Olsen less so. A lot hinges on Kurt Warner for me, and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

And then, of course, he throws a TD, but not to one of my blokes...
