SportsXchange (Sky Channel 456) are now showing the Campeonato Brasileiro games - i think it's the first time the matches have been aired in the UK since Channel 4 and then Sky's Channel 425 a few years ago

I really need to sort out Sky TV. There seem to be about a billion sports channels that I've never even heard of.

Some games were on the quite magnificent Sgorio on S4C last season!

Sgorio is a different programme altogether and this season celebrates 20 years of broadcasting Spanish football on terrestrial television - it also features the Bundesliga and used to have Serie A.

The Brazilian stuff appeared on a dubbed version of Goalissimo which aired as part of Sgorio last season ...

I have Sky+ed it.

I'm also interested to see what the other football programme on the station: "African Soccer" is like.

Well, the African Soccer programme is quite odd. The voiceover is done by an extremely excitable woman who labelled one player as a "goalkeeper and custodian" which does suggest a keeper cum barman.

It featured the delights of Ivory Coast top flight football, an under 17 tournament from Western Africa and the Namibian Cup Final.

Sgorgio looks a decent program, but is well too wierd for me.
The LOW matches on show have players with an alarming low level of fitness and an ability that wouldn't see them out of place at county level.

There is the long interviews with 80 year old blokes in Welsh

Then there is the conversations on the sofa in Welsh with MTRF and his mates chuckling and giggling.
I keep feeling like they are talking about me so i had to switch off.

Living in Swansea, I used to watch Sgorio years ago in the days before Sky TV. Being non-Welsh speaking I lost interest once Sky Sports came along. Never realised they were showing the Brasileirao though. Will have to keep a look out for it next season!

Please take into account that I'm slightly drunk on Korean beer:

To Pitaco; Do you still have your sidekick, Birra do Brasil?

To Colorado Matt; I see that Andrezinho, aka Tavares isn't getting much of a look-in at Internacional. Is there a possibility that he'll return to Korea for 2009?
