I was looking at a rival clubs' message board (Rhyl) and I noticed that one of their fans was writing nasty things about me. I feel violated.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah. The Bradford Park Avenue message board. Their chairman described me as a "krank" (sic) and stated that I should "keep collecting your £167.00 per week after tax" (all of this, obviously, without knowing where the original article that so offended him came from or even what my name is).
It's a badge of honour to have enemies in the right place.

"Rhyl's top boy and his bodyguard chuckled in the stand with laugher as City got ripped to shreads tonight.
Bangor oh's perfect 500 support, had a mong ejected by the Wrexham stewards for i think he was trying to get on the pitch and smack the keeper and then spit at the full back, but from his seat at the back row of the main stand, it was a journey too far, and the stewards stopped him, in his tracks.
At the final poor old Les Davies left the pitch on a breathalyzer machine after chasing shadows all night.
And Nige P and Che(My Welsh message board personna) were spotted in the toilet cubicle making funny noises."

Not on a fans' message board (as far as I know, I probably have been slagged off) but an member of one of my ex-bands is writing his life story on his MySpace site and has been slagging me off throughout. I am starting to think he is obsessed with me actually
5 years ago, I would have debated with him at length but his writing is actually quite funny.

I too have been slagged off on various message boards (leigh Genesis, BPA, Ashton United), due to my blog. But equally, there are those who love me and reckon I'm skill.

The great thing about that is the way it addresses none of the points you made and barely makes sense, yet is treated by the idiots who use that forum as if it were dictated from the top of Mount Sinai by God himself.
