As one of the very few people who has steadfastly stuck to his original moniker throughout his tenure on OTF, I must admit I find all of this constant name changing a bit of a headache, one exacerbated by the transfer to the new board. It's like a Dr Who-in-reverse syndrome - same people, but different names.

A couple I spotted instantly - The Prodigal is instantly recognisable by his posting style - (to "Carmodise" has become a verb), while Lord Mauleverer is my old school chum The 7th Baron Bartok. I caught the Billy Bunter reference.Toro's variations are generally spottable (Doctoro Doctoro, very good).

What of the others? Has there been a flood of newcomers are is this just the same old lags who've decied to give themselves a nomenclature makeover? Declare yourselves . . .

I was wondering whatever happened to 7th Baron Bartok. And what about The Mighty Belgian? I only just caught on to the new identity of Oolon a couple of days ago.

I was Coffy. I might just use this name only for summer, the greatest time of year, but I have an idea for another handle come autumn.

I just added a bit of flourish to my name, which is my actual name. I don't see the point of hiding.

Oh, I was wondering what had happened to Oolon.

Please don't change your name, Lyra - you're one of the few people I recognise by their name now.

We did this as one of the first threads on this board, but I can't find it.

The limitations of the new search function are really becoming exponentially more annoying as the volume of posts grows.
