I could have sworn there was a thread for cycling jerseys already, but apparently not.
Thus, I'm starting one, having just chanced across this one:
...on this blog. (Actually, is that blog by one of our own, here?) Whatever, it quite correctly asks whether that could be the best cycling jersey ever.
Shouldn't there be a warning about looking at this stuff at work? Where exactly did you get that Molteni top from Baff? It is indeed the thing I need to wear as I ride into Port Talbot every day.
By the time you factor in the exchange rate, the prices aren't too bad, for a man who wears Assos, rides a Colnago and deprives his children of shoes so that he can buy new Keo pedals.
Incidentally, Vintage Velos also have several gorgeous winter training tops to suit all tastes...
... including a couple for Eddy fetishists.

Reason: Autumn is almost upon us
Prendas seem to have gone for a Range of Shame approach for their latest retro shirts - Gewiss/Balan (and Batik/Del Monte, their follow-up), Festina, Ariostea...
I ordered one of the Continental retro tops - it looks cooler in reality than in the teeny image they have on the site.
Only disappointment is that it states on the tag inside the jersey that it is cotton/acrylic which means those British sheep have been seriously genetically modified or else the Continental definition of wool has been modified by their marketing department.
I was shocked to discover that the Credit Agricole team were to disband at the end of the season, due to the sponsor pulling out. On their fiftieth anniversary too.
On a selfish note, this means that the CA jersey I bought 10 years ago during Boardman-mania (that is almost identical to the current version save for a few minor cosmetic changes) is suddenly out of date.
Imagine if you only had to fork out for a new football shirt every decade.
Didn't know CA were around so long - meanwhile was browsing to see jerseys and came across this one - while they say 'Sieg' means victory in german, they spelt it wrong on the jersey, arf.
Is it an allergy to the lanolin (wool fat) in the wool?
I've had two different people over the last month or so who've tried to encourage me to take up alpaca farming (my fault for attending agricultural shows), as clothing produced from the fleece is suitable for people with lanolin intolerance.
