The road to Istanbul starts here:

Bangor City, TNS, Glentoran, Cliftonville, Cork, St Patrick's ... and Man City await their fate.

It's pretty crap that the UEFA Cup is regionalised - the same countries end up playing each other time and time again - Welsh clubs are forever meeting Latvian and Scandinavian clubs, which eventually becomes boring as hell.

I assume it's to spare impoverished clubs from places like Albania and Armenia having to fork out massive air fares to northern Europe?

But yes, it makes for a tedious fixture list.

Thanks for the draw Jorge. As an aside it's either St. Patrick's Athletic or Pat's. No one calls them St. Patrick's.

Don't Cork fans have a bit of a reputation for trouble?

Can't recall them ever being mixed up in anything big.

Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians are top of the hooligan hit parade in Oireland.

I thought as much Nil, but decided to plump with Uefa's version of names

Right. Hope they bring a lot of fans over, then.

Having seen both TNS and FK Sudova at Windsor Park in the last year I would say TNS should win quite comfortably over the two legs.

Yes, I went to Marjampole with Rhyl in the Uefa Cup a few years ago.
Suduva were hopeless - it was lucky for them that Rhyl were also rubbish on that particular day and the Lithuanians squeezed through.

Birkirkara have been drawn against Hajduk Split. Oh well, at least we can watch decent players whilst we get trashed (as opposed to being trashed by mediocre ones as per norm).

The worrying thing is that our own ultras group are genuinely excited about a trip to see the Torcida ultras.
