did I miss something? 1994? you would be better putting money on Steve McClaren getting the sack after tonight.

Arsenal looked good tonight, but should have scored about 12. Twente were absolute rubbish.

I think Arsenal are the sort of team that might just batter Celtic. I would settle for Lyon, Werder Bremen and Aalborg.

7 points at home, nick a draw in Bremen, and another against Aalborg.

Worst case scenario outcome (for Celtic): Arsenal, Porto and Atletico Madrid. (Not because I disagree with you HoH, but they are the sort of teams who can easily gub us - as admittedly could anyone in pots 1 and 2, and some of 4 too. Pessimistic? Damned right.)

Celtic do have an excellent record against English teams though.

You could easily see Arsenal folding like a cheap suit at Celtic Park -- or winning 4-1, one or the other.

Oh, sure, and at Parkhead, anything could happen... but whereas Man Utd are direct (and very very good), Arsenal are patient, and we dont have anything like the finesse they have.

Alternatively, we could resort to kicking lumps out of them... if we can catch them.

Roma and Chelsea are in the same group - good news for Spangles and Liq.

Christ, but isn't this draw taking years: like everything associated with the CL - bloated, overlong, self-regarding and pompous. Get the fuck on with it!

I see Petr Cech is the goalkeeper of the year (after the least impressive season of his Chelsea career), John Terry is the defender of the year, and Frank Lampard is the midfielder of the year.

Who'll be striker of the year? Salomon Kalou?

Shit, Villarreal. Not good.

Liverpool have got another poxy piss-easy group yet again, which will probably be rounded off by BATE Borisov. Damn them to hell.
