You're very right. Such a great song, and great peformance of it. I'm grinning giddily here. What a great clip, and the scene at the end is great. See how relaxed the bouncer is.

Have watched it many a time, and indeed have been listening to Live At The Hammersmith Odeon this morning on my way to work. One of his very finest songs.

Damn you erwin; the whole morning now I've been singing, at least in my head, in a loop the line: "Your poppa says he knows that I don't have any money

Hmm, i've read speculation that there might be a commemorative 30th Anniversary edition of 'Darkness on the Edge of Town'. Would love it to be true, it's my favourite album of his.

I assume that this thread is called "Cheer up" to celebrate me not having sound on this computer...

What a great clip

Isn't it? It's so well edited. And everyone seems to be having such a whale of a time - it's what rock'n'roll should be all about, I reckon. My favourite moment is when a woman runs on, kisses the Boss, runs offstage, and he and Clarence Clemons simultaneously go to follow her.

Fantastic stuff.

Same here. And if such a anniversary edition would include a DVD of a 1978 concert, I might just faint from excitement.

That's insane stuff! (... and the audience remains steadfastly in its seat throughout ... is it a deaf school!?)

I like the "kinda groovy bread" from the presenter at the end.
