I've seen him be very good in a good few games, but he seems to only be really good in a certain way. He doesn't seem to have a trick or a sharp edge. He can definitely pass the ball like for the second goal against russia.

what are you talking about gerontophile. Lahm has been wretched, so bad that he was subbed. While a lot of fullbacks have attacked very well, The standard of defending by fullbacks in general in this tournament has been rather poor indeed.
I was talking to ursus about iniesta. Hitzelsperger has just been hooked, and not before time.

Spain are too good; their short passing is beautiful, and they are very well-organised defensively. They just have to keep playing the way they are; another goal will come. The Germans will have to change something.

This is a good tactical change by the Germans - they've pushed three right up on the Spanish back line. The Spanish will need to stop the service - time for Senna to step up.
