Spain the better side. After the Germans got some joy in the first ten minutes down the (German) left Ramos tucked in and since then the Spanish passing machine has taken over.

In a strange way, even though I'd rather Spain won the game (and so far they loook to be deserving their lead), in a kind of way I'd like Germany to equalise so that it's in the end a more exciting match. It's looking a bit easy for Spain since they scored.

nee, CTT. I am watching at the best bar in the world. Apart from some serious grunting from the other people here... The problem will be if Spain become, whats the word, oh yes... complacent

Awesome finish from Torres, obviously, but how poor was Lahm? Torres was second-favourite to reach that ball, and Lahm let Torres run around him (from the left side to the right side), like "Oh, don't mind me, go ahead, have a shot..."

Er... that's not to say the contributions of geront and thom aren't great, however.

oh and thom? Sergio Ramos has been fucking brilliant. The Germany wingers swapped because the first was getting none, and since the change, Ramos looks even better.

*so fuck you aiatl

I think Casillas got booked because the ref waved him away and he didn't go.

What's the best bar in the world?

I was in Boscombe less than 4 hours ago by the way. Had a shitty burger at the Brewer's Fayre near the pier.

I am indoors. I serve large measures (fnarr) and there is only ice in conversation... unless requested (silly person)

Ramos has been good, since he tucked back. The first ten minutes he was pushed a long way forward, and the Germans created three (I think) overlaps.

My football watching friend is ill, so I'm watching this on my own on the pc.

its not over yet, and I see what you meant earlier... Ramos is having a good game ;so far; but he is brittle.

However, Germany have been ok. If they continue to be ok, they will lose.

I will be surprised if noone gets a serious kick at Fabregas... again

I didn't get your joke geront - sorry.

I just had a quick drink with a friend at the Lord Nelson in Boscombe after visiting relatives in Wimborne. I remember you saying you live in Bournemouth (or near Bournemouth).

I'm very slow right now - the A31/M27/M3/A34 are relentless energy saps...

Picture is back, olive tree has been righted, and we are hoping that the ventilators next door (which may have been struck by lightening) don't fall onto our terrace.

And I thought you guys might enjoy the Marca M-B-M report on Torres' goal:

¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Gooooooooooooooollllllllll!!!!!! ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Gooooooooooollllllllllll!!!!!!!!!! ¡¡¡¡¡¡El Niño!!!!!! ¡¡¡¡¡¡The Kid!!!!!!!
